GATIT Plus Fertilizer – Pellets product – in which we can add to the NPK & Micro elements, elements that couldn’t be added to solid water-soluble product before, like Humic acid – Bio Stimulants, Nitrification Stabilizer, Seaweed, Zinc-EDTA, Iron-EDDHA etc.

All in a solid full water – soluble product. Another advantage is that the product does not harden with humidity (15%-20% waste reduce of fertilizer).

GATIT Plus Blue: in a Nitrogen-rich formula, sourced from Urea and NH4, we recommend adding a Nitrification stabilizer additive which increases the nitrogen availability to the plant, prevents the nitrogen to be leached to the soil depth, improves phosphorus and microelements absorption.

Gatit Plus fertilizers contain high concentrations nutritional elements. nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium, and can be supplied at any ratio
required by specific growing needs. Balanced and intelligent fertilization which are best suited for the absorption of nutrients in the various growing stages will result in higher and more quality yields.

Gatit Plus fertilizers can be enriched with additional nutrients, such as magnesium and sulfur. The addition of calcium supplements in fertilizer is possible, but it is recommended to fertilize separately according to water quality and calcium deficiency in the soil.

Gatit Plus fertilizers contain chelated Trace elements (TE) EDTA, Fe – EDDHA chelated at a fixed ratio of the nutrients best suited to the crops’ consumption. Gatit Plus fertilizers can be provided with higher micro elements concentrations, if needed.

Growth stimulants (growth promoters) Bio – stimulants are defined as supplements of biological or natural origin or similar products that contribute to the development and health of the plant. The Bio – stimulants give the plant resistance to environmental stress (abiotic) conditions, such as extreme temperatures, salinity and dryness. Also resistant to diseases (biotic strains).

THE AGRONOMIC & OPERATIONAL ADVANTAGESOF USING GATIT PLUS FERTILIZERS

Gat Fertilizers have developed the Gatit Plus fertilizer series for optimal nutrition for all various crops, while focusing of the plants’ needs requirements for providing Macro nutrients (NPK , S, Mg, Ca) + Trace elements (Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu, B, Mo) + Bio – Stimulants (Humic + Fulvic acid , Seaweed extract , Nitrogen Stabilizer) that the most efficient and effective managements.

In regions with high precipitation, flushed soil or drainable light – medium soil that are irrigated with high quality water (low chloride concentration), it is important to use fertilizers that contain reduce chlorine to achieve the required threshold concentration of chlorine needs for the crops’ development. In this case Gatit Plus fertilizers that contain reduced chlorine can be used to save some expenses. Gatit Plus fertilizers with a medium pH reaction (pH 4-5) are suitable to be used in every irrigation system, without any risk of corrosion the metal equipment in the irrigation system.

Gatit Plus fertilizers excel in high solubility
The Gatit Plus pellets with a water to fertilizer ratio of 4:1, resulting in a clear solution without any sediments, and that can be used in fertigation for all types of drippers and sprinklers with no fear of clogging.

Gatit Plus fertilizers excel in maintaining a moderate pH level (pH 4-5) following the dissolving of the fertilizing solution in the container (fertilizer tank), so the quality of the micro-chelates added to the fertilizer is maintained. In solutions with acidity less that pH 3, the micro-chelates lose their chelation qualities and the micro elementsbecome unavailable as result of chemical processes in the irrigation water and in soil solution.

Increasing the acidity in irrigation water to reduce the pH in alkaline rich soil is not practical as the soil’s buffering ability is strength and the soil’s pH change for a very short time (several minutes). Moreover, to receive a reaction in the soil, the lowest pH level is required in fertilizers solution, where there is no chance of survival for the chelated trace elements which are essential for nutrition in calcareous soils. Using Gatit Plus fertilizers in irrigation water provides a suitable pH for maintaining the integrity of the chelates and their effectiveness in feeding the root system. Another advantage is the Blue additive which increases the nitrogen availability the efficiency to the plant, prevents the nitrogen to be leached to the soil depth, improves phosphorus and micro elements absorption By lowering the pH of the root zone when absorbing the ammonium (NH4+) by the plant.

In proper fertigation, the usual dose of Gatit Plus is lower in irrigation water in the range of 0.2 kg – 1 kg per cubic meter of irrigation water; in extreme cases it can reach 3 kg per cubic meter. This results low buffering with the bicarbonate in the irrigation water, and the pH level slightly decreases (in high doses – up to 1 pH unit).

The use of Gatit Plus fertilizers is intended for feeding crops in a controlled management according to the crop’s consumption, so the composition of the fertilizer and its dosage in the irrigation solution changes according to the type of crop and its stage of development. This means that the pH level cannot be maintained fixed in irrigation water. Moreover, fertigation is not always carried out constantly in irrigation cycle and does not take place in every application of irrigation water It is recommended to start by introducing water into the irrigation system without fertilizer, then inject fertilizer towards the end of the cycle, and to complete irrigation cycle by flushing the lines without fertilizer.
