About
Gat Fertilizers was established in May 1985 in Kiryat Gat, Israel.
The first plant has created a new standard in the field of tailor made liquid products to the Israeli farmers. Fortunately the company was well accepted in the market and following the success, a second plant was established in 1992 in the north of Israel which eventually moved to its current location in the industrial zone of Alon Tavor.
In 1993 the company decided to take its knowledge abroad for the first time and after a rigorous research period, it was decided to set the first plant abroad in Niebla, Spain, not far from the city of Seville. In the coming years thanks to the success in the Spanish market, Gat established 2 more plants in the Iberian peninsula, one located in Extremadura, and the second in Almería. Today Gat Spain is a leader in the liquid fertilizers market in Spain.
In 2019 Gat expanded to South America and the sixth plant was established in Trujillo, Peru.
